There's no activity approaching from the sides, so why do we need to see what's there? I don't know if your camera will also do 180, but if it does, do it that way. It's better to devote your memory resources to better quality for what's in front of you."

Yours wasn't bad, but you get the best stable easy-to-watch result with a tripod, and it's easier for your guy to not have to bother holding the camera. Just set it up over his head and forget about it."
